Pathauto es la herramienta que permite acceder al contenido directamente utilizando una dirección URL amigable, en lugar de la típica node/numero.

Por omisión toma el título del node (title:raw) y lo transforma en una URL amigable. Por ejemple si el nodo se llama Probando la direccion sera:
http://betatestweb.com/drupal/probando

El asunto se complica cuando Pathauto encuentra títulos con acentos o caracteres especiales, los transforma en cadenas de caracteres perdiendo parte de la funcionalidad.
Para evitar este problema, simplemente copiamos el archivo i18n-ascii.txt en la carpeta de Pathauto (ej. drupal/sites/all/pathauto ) y listo.

Tambien se debe activar  en  Principal » Administrar » Configuración del sitio >> Pathauto > Opciones generales >
